Learning from a Cat

I have noticed something diffrent about Luke lately. He seems to have figured out how to open a door, that is securly shut. The only other animal that I know that know's how to do that is Teddy. In earlier posts i have talked about Luke teaching Teddy, now i think Luke is getting a little education in return. It is truly amazing how quick learners they are, even though Luke does not know how to roll over yet (we are working on that), but simple concepts he understands.

Lukes Best Adventures

10. Licking a piece of his owners sweet 16 cake, a both terrifying and tasty result. The terrifying part is when is owner widened her eyes in shock.

9.Running in a bog with no leash, while we were somewhere on vacation, he enjoyed his time with the dog groomer. It was probabley one of his favorite adveentures, probabley ranked higher on this list if we were there.

8. The day we got Luke, i was playing in a baseball game. I was playing catcher and all i remember was going to get the ball behind me to find a small confused puppy.

7.The day we got Teddy was a day Luke sure remembers. He remembers seeing the little creature, and building up jealously about it. The cat isn't very social, so we haven't lost any interest from luke because of him. That day started a great friendship.

6.The first time in his crate. We tried to watch TV but we could't because the dog, well i bet you can guess what he was doing. Just try and watch a movie while your dog is barking its head off.

5.Playing on the beach in Maine was a great Adventure for Luke. He went in the water, and got all wet, and then shook everywhere in the car. Not a very good situation, but itleast now he behaves in the car.

4. Going to Maine. This was by far Lukes most exausting adventure, even though he didnt even walk a foot. He just sat on the floor of the car, and you could hear a pin drop. It was amazing. Every half an hour or so he would get up to see where we were. He stood up while we were on a bridge, and looked at me like WHAT THE HECK? Once we arrived he was satisfied.

3.This is somthing that you will not believe. We don't know how Luke did this but he brought in a dead squirel. My dad didn't have anytime to look at it so we don't know ehether he scared it to death, or ate it. I think it almost scared my dad to death, Luke thought he was bringing in a prized possesion.

2. Picking up a cat in a mouth of a dog doesn't seem right...right? Well....not to Luke. One day when Teddy was still a kitten, Luke picked up the cat in his mouth and walked by me and my sister. He acted normal which was the strangest part. Now the cat is too big for Lukes mouth.

1. Luke came from a family of 8 pups. We didnt know which one we were holding when we went to see them, but someone held Luke. Its hard to Imagine this dog right now at a size smaller than my arm. Anyways, Luke had never met any of his siblings until one day. My mom met someone who had a Labradoodle the same age as Luke. One day they both brought there dogs to the same place, and they turned out to be brother and sister. Her name was Sadie, and Luke will never forget her.

About Luke

Luke was born on March 3rd 2006. As he grows, his life becomes more and more interesting. He was born in Kingston Massachusetts. His mother is a Labradore Retriever, and his father is a poodle, therefore luke is a Labradoodle. He takes pride in his unique style and the context of his breed. He has had a wonderful life so far, enduring many adventures, whether its a car ride to Maine, chasing squirels in our back yard, or running through a bog without a leash, he has sure enjoyed it. This blog is dedicated to sharing his many adventures he comes across in life.
